At Pure Health and Wellness Perth abdominal pain sufferers can get relief from a range of ailments and conditions, including Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colic, gastroenteritis, gall stones, acid reflux, heartburn, abdominal pain syndrome, nausea and vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea and more. Our homeopathic gastroenterolgist, Ankita Chavda, completed her Bachelor Degree in Homoeopathic Medicine from Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, a five-and-a-half year degree.

Ankita began her career in a multi-specialty hospital, where she performed a range of duties and gained extensive experience with many disease conditions, their treatment and management. Combining this background with her skills and experience as a homeopath provides Ankita’s patients with a unique skillset and clinical approach which covers all bases.

Ankita believes homeopathy provides the tools she needs to help understand and eradicate the underlying causes of disease and pain, restore the balance that nourishes health and emotional wellbeing and to empower people to manage their own health better.

Ankita understands every ‘body’ is different – genetically, metabolically, physically and psychologically – and needs to be treated in its own unique way. She sees homeopathy as a dynamic medicine that deals with ill health by probing into and removing the root cause to prevent recurrence.

She understands that while we have an amazing immune system that corrects and protects itself, our lifestyles and environmental influences can suppress or delay our natural healing ability. She uses homeopathy to gently stimulate the immune system and bring relief to underlying health conditions.

When not in clinical practice, Ankita loves to read, learn and expand her mind, practice the asanas of yoga and meditation, cook delicious organic meals, work in her vegetable garden, walk on the beach or release her creative talents. She moved to Australia with her husband in 2012.
